Sector Vision: The Technical Services and Main Workshops Sector aspires to excel in delivering high-quality engineering and technical services that support the sustainability of infrastructure through innovation, adherence to technical standards, and enhanced operational efficiency to serve the various sectors of the ministry.
The sector includes the Administrative Security and Safety Department affiliated with the Technical Office. It comprises several maintenance workshops and other specialties, supervised by a select group of engineers to ensure quality and efficiency.
The sector includes the Technical Office and Fire Incidents Management, overseeing the maintenance and monitoring of departments outside the ministry’s headquarters and ensuring the proper functioning of necessary devices and alarms. A select group of engineers manage these tasks, divided into three main teams: the Computer Team, the Safety Team, and the Firefighting Team.
The Technical Office is responsible for monitoring and analyzing fire and electric shock incidents to ensure the implementation of safety standards and minimize risks in work environments. It also works on providing preventive solutions and developing precautionary measures to protect individuals and facilities.
The participation and engagement of various departments and sections of the sector in the National Day event of the State of Kuwait on February 25-26.

The training program was launched on October 13, 2024, and was established to provide both practical and theoretical training for all engineers, based on team needs and project requirements, with the goal of enhancing teamwork and professional development.
A training and field course in civil works was conducted, specifically for the Design and Supervision Department, under the title “The Comprehensive Field Guide for Architectural Finishes Inspection.”
The course included theoretical instruction inside the ministry and practical training outside, with the participation of faculty members.
It focused on building and maintenance follow-up, and the field training took place at the Construction Institute – Hessa Towers in Hessa Plaza. The course was exclusively for female engineers.
A training and field course in infrastructure, focusing on the practical skills needed to inspect, evaluate, and supervise on-site construction activities. The course included both theoretical instruction within the ministry and hands-on field training, carried out in collaboration with the Public Authority for Housing Welfare. As part of the training, engineers visited project sites in Al Mutlaa Residential City and Sabah Al-Ahmad Residential City, where they learned to assess infrastructure readiness, verify construction quality, and supervise the implementation of essential works. The course aimed to enhance the engineers’ technical capabilities and ensure they meet the highest standards in infrastructure project management.
